FAQ

How do I find a good tutor?

I strongly recommend a qualified teacher who has at least a few years’ experience. This will ensure that they not only have the knowledge but they are aware of the common pitfalls and misconceptions and have developed strategies to overcome them.

How many tutors do you employ?

I have trained 2 fully qualified teachers who have delivered the course for a number of years. They deliver my structured programme and resources.

Do children get homework?

Sessions last for two hours with a small break in between and are roughly broken up into one hour of Maths & NVR and one hour of English & Verbal reasoning. Current costs are £35 per session which equates to £17.50 per hour. You will access to the online homework at no additional cost.

What if my child does not score well in the initial assessment?

We are totally honest with our feedback and we will tell you whether or not your child is a suitable candidate for the 11 Plus, however don’t worry we run classes in year 4 and year 5 which will help them improve their Maths and English.
